BLOOD DRIVE
Invite friends, family, and neighbors to join you to worship and to donate the “gift of life” August 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gathering Place. More that 1.6 million people were diagnosed with cancer last year. Many of them will need blood, sometimes daily during their treatment.
The donation process takes less than an hour. It is recommended that donors have a light snack before donating. Most people are eligible to donate. There are very few causes for deferral and very few medications that are not acceptable.
Indiana Blood Center must see 550 individuals each day in order to meet the patient needs at the 60+ hospitals it supplies. Please consider serving by participating in the August 2 blood drive.
