3rd Grade Bible Presentation



We are preparing Bibles for our 3rd Graders.  With guidance from parents and what they  learn at church, the Bible will help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Kairos Offers Many Ways to Serve

Four women of SUMC (Lyndsay Bierce, Karen Decatur, Billie Hunteman and Connie Klipsch) are in the midst of training to serve at a Kairos Prison Ministry weekend at the Indiana Women’s Prison (IWP) June 5-8.   They are among at least 44 women from various churches in the Central Indiana area who will minister to 42 incarcerated women at IWP. On April 24 and 27, representatives will be at a Next Steps table to let you know how you can be a vital part of that ministry. Food Drive Collection

We celebrate a collection of 140 pounds of personal hygiene items given to Hunger Inc. for those in our community who are in need.   Thank you! For the month of June we are requesting CANNED PORK AND BEANS and CANNED PASTA MEALS. Children will be home for the summer and the need for food will be even greater. Our collection dates coincide with the dates we celebrate communion, May 31 and June 3. Thank you for feeding the children of our community who won’t go hungry because of your generous giving.
